Mayra Vargas

Mayra Vargas has been with the University of Arizona since 2021, bringing extensive experience from schools, non-profits, and community engagement. She has been pivotal in enhancing science literacy, working with diverse groups across Arizona, including Latine and Tribal communities. As Project Manager for Undergraduate Education Initiatives, Mayra leads the day to day planning of the A Student's Journey program and other student success initiatives.
